Soccer season begins!

Wow, Emily and Alexander are starting soccer season. Somebody give me some energy drinks through an IV for me to get through this!

Emily is on D League (5 and 6 year olds) and Alexander is on B League (9 and 10 year olds).

This means practices almost every night of the week and games starting the middle of June. Sometimes we will be at the soccer fields from 6pm-9pm! That's a lot of soccer! I must bring something to do. Maybe a good time to start the new knitting project I have been wanting to do!

Go Bombers!

Happy 44th Birthday Dave!

I think Dave had a great birthday. No Ipod Touch for him. Have to save for a new car!

But I surprised him and took him to the new Star Trek Movie. Dave gives it a B+ and I give it a B-. Pretty good. Alexander wants to see it!

Dave got a movie, t-shirt and a cot for camping. No more on the ground sleeping for him! I didn't really like laying on it, so none for me!

Happy Birthday and many more to come!

Camping with the Cub Scouts

We went camping with the Cub Scouts last weekend. We all had a good time. We went geocaching, had a treasure hunt, water bomb sling shots, games, bon fires, ceremonies, skits, songs, foil bag dinners, etc. Emily didn't sleep well, but other than that we had fun. Alexander got to run around outside all weekend and play with his friends. We just had to make sure he got enough to eat!

Coming up is the Memorial Day Parade and Sticky Lips dinner with the family for Dave and Dads Birthday.

Children Update

Alexander is testing tonight at Tae Kwon Do for his advanced Brown belt. This is his last test before testing for his Black Belt!! He has been doing Tae Kwon Do for 3 1/2 years! He has come along ways. He started when he was 5 years old and was with the little white belts. Now he is tall and standing in the last line in class with all the older and big kids! He loves to do it and even makes up his own Tae Kwon Do moves in our living room! He has learned great self defense.

Emily has joined Girl Scouts. She will start in the fall and she is already excited about it. Now I will have two vests (Alexanders Cub Scouts and Emilys Girl Scout) vests to sew patches on. I am behind in that task - I have 12 patches to sew on Alexanders vest. He is bugging me to do it!

Everyone is well and happy. We go camping the 16th and 17th of May with the cub scouts. It should be a great time!

Aquarium in Niagara Falls

In February, we traveled on a Friday night to the Aquarium in Niagara Falls with the Cub Scouts. We got to sleep there overnight! Right next to the sharks, fish, penguins and sea lions. We got to touch lobsters, fish and starfish. We explored the aquarium. Nobody slept much, but we head a great time. We saw the Sea Lion show in the morning.

Emilys Lost her First Tooth

Right before her 6th Birthday, Emily lost her first tooth at Kindergarten. Then she lost her 2nd tooth at her birthday party. Our little girl is getting so big! And tall!
